Bereavement is a journey and is different for everyone and no two experiences are the same. If you are facing life after the death of a loved one or close friend or family member and you are finding it hard to work through your thoughts and feelings then you may benefit from talking it through in a confidential safe way with one of the friendly advisors at the Family Support Centre.
Are you grieving the death of a loved one or struggling with the long-term effects of loss? We run a seven-session course to help you work through some of the difficulties.
Topics covered include: Attachment, Separation and loss. Difficult feelings, Rites of passage, The impact and pain of bereavement, Coping with others, Coping with change, Moving forward and an optional session on Questions of Faith.
If you are interested please get in touch with the centre.
Are you suffering from short term or occasional mental distress and do not feel it serious enough to seek professional help?
